DESCRIPTION: This historic event will highlight and honor the leadership of Black women, immigrant women, and women of color within the national #WomensWave. We will rally against racism, Islamophobia, apartheid, and violence. We will fight for the empowerment of women and girls, LGBTQI equality, and Palestinian liberation.

JVP’s contingent’s loud and visible presence as an intergenerational, diverse group of Jewish New Yorkers is critical to send a message: we stand against all forms of racism and bigotry, including anti-Semitism and the false accusations of anti-Semitism so often used to divide us as women, Jews, and activists for transformational justice.

JVP-NYC is a proud partner in this year’s march and we are honored to be working alongside a powerful coalition of local, grassroots groups fighting for gender equity, immigrant rights, labor rights, civil rights, disability rights, decarceration, and so much more.

Join us on January 19 to say loudly and clearly: we have each other’s backs. We will not be divided, we will not turn on one another. We will stand together against rising fascism and we will create a more just world with safety and liberation for all.
