Description
JVP-NYC IS GROWING! With over a thousand members in New York, and new members joining every month, we’re in a crucial moment to ask how we can leverage our strength and take bold, decisive action in support of Palestinian liberation.
Join your fellow JVP members for an ACTION CAMP to inspire and prepare us for the fights ahead. Together, we will learn how to respond quickly and effectively to crises in ways that challenge and mobilize our Jewish communities and that support and amplify the work of Palestinians and other racial justice movements.
We’ll spend the day:
deepening our understanding of JVP’s principles and mission
developing our capacities to tackle tactical considerations, including how to take responsible risks, build leadership, and strengthen accountability to Palestinian and racial justice movements
practicing how to imagine and plan creative and powerful direct actions
identifying what skills we want and need as we continue to grow
We’ll continue with an after-party following the camp! This will be a great opportunity for new members to make connections and plug into work, and for long-time members to share their insights and expand their skills.
Lunch will be provided.
