MORE INFORMATION
ISM is a Palestinian-led movement. In 2002 the ISM made headlines in defending the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem and the ancient Nablus Casbah, and documented the destruction and mass killing of Palestinians in the Jenin refugee camp. In 2009, 2012, and 2014, ISM volunteers were with the Palestinian people in Gaza, reporting the Israeli invasion and air attacks, and helping in the hospitals, clinics and schools even as they were being attached.
