DESCRIPTION
The past few years have been challenging, yet filled with moments of Muslims in America standing up for justice. With three iterations of the Muslim Ban, a sharp rise in hate crimes, shootings in our houses of worship, not just Muslims but our Jewish and Black Christian allies and other marginalized people feel like there’s a perpetual target on our communities.
But 2019 is a critical year—and yet another moment for us to be unapologetically Muslim standing in solidarity with all faith communities.
This Ramadan, join us as we stand together with targeted and marginalized communities, and to be “in the streets”—adhering to the Prophetic tradition of acting and speaking out for justice.
We will break fast together during this holy month of Ramadan.
