DESCRIPTIONkai is a queer Black feminist, visual and performance artist, and longtime abolitionist movement-builder who lives and works in New Orleans.

As police abolition becomes a rallying cry across the country and around world, it is so important that we listen to the Black queer feminist voices who have been theorizing and advocating abolition for decades.

We are in full solidarity with those rising up in the streets right now against white supremacy and anti-Black violence, from Minneapolis to NYC. Let's keep up the pressure, support those taking to the streets, tear down the statues, and learn from our abolitionist elders who have been leading us to this moment for centuries.
