DESCRIPTION
Sherry Gorelick has been an activist for Justice in Palestine since 1982. In May, 1991, she attended the Women's International Conference for Israel/Palestinian Peace in Geneva, Switzerland. She is a member of Women in Black Union Square, holding vigils every week since 2001 (now temporarily suspended by Covid 19). She also belongs to Jews Say No and JFREJ. She taught Sociology (Race, Class and Gender) and Women's Studies at Livingston College of Rutgers University for 32 years, retiring on Disability in 2003. She is overjoyed to belong to JVP-NYC.
The conversation this Wednesday will focus on Women and the Struggle for Justice in Palestine. Sherry will be in conversation with Gabby Spear.
